ABOUT
This design is a tribute to the diverse flora and fauna of the Peak District National Park featuring the most common plants and animals.
It`s intended for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts and those who want to take home
a keepsake to remember their adventures.
The design
The concept for this design was inspired by the spontaneous, hand-drawn sketches you make in your notebook when studying.
To ensure the design was both accurate and reflective of flora and fauna, I did my fair share of research, even by visiting the Peak District itself.
These trips helped to create a more authentic representation of the area.
Fun fact: while collecting pinecones to complete the design I saw roe deer rambling across the forest, so I would say the design turned out to be very accurate to reality.
The design had to be adaptable to both natural and white fabrics, which meant incorporating the garment color into the artwork.
This allowed the natural tones of the fabric to complement and enhance the illustrations.
